Our work involves ensuring that project costs are sufficiently budgeted, monitored and maintained, to reduce cost uncertainty in construction projects. We also advise on the value impacts of various contract procurement types and consistently deliver results in building a realistic budget throughout the process. Our team provides complete cost planning, project monitoring and consulting services starting at project concept, through to substantial performance or completion. With each engagement, we will provide clients and stakeholders with the knowledge and understanding of project costs and risks so informed decisions can be made. Meet the Owner

Amanda White, owner of Foresight Atlantic Inc.

Foresight Atlantic Inc. is independently owned and operated by Amanda White, who is a designated Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) with over 10 years of experience in the local and national construction industry. Amanda also specializes in project monitoring, where lenders/investors are provided with reliable, un-biased and independently verified project information throughout the development process. Amanda’s mission is to help her clients plan, budget, and understand their construction costs, and ultimately mitigate risks during the construction lifecycle, by providing consulting services to stakeholders, entrepreneurs, or growing property developers.

When Amanda is not working she is active in the community. Amanda is a proud supporter and member of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Canadian Progress Club Halifax Citadel, Centre for Women in Business and Canada Green Building Council – Atlantic Chapter. She also loves volunteering and helping to raise funds for local charities. Amanda is a proud mom and wife, fourth generation Haligonian and action movie fanatic.
